Technically, Sadaqah Jariyah comes under the Islamic legal category of waqf, or endowment. The Arabic word waqf literally means “frozen,” in the sense of something “standing still,” or “held in a fixed state or condition.” This describes the legal state of the original charitable gift. This also simultaneously reflects the charity’s stipulation of the benefit, that is the fruit, of its original gift helping defined, eligible designees in the world in perpetuity and its good recompense accruing to its giver in his or her afterlife, potentially until the end of time.

With the help of different people, we want to give people the means to support themselves and empower them to build self-sustaining communities that are resilient against disasters.

You can even gift a Sadaqah Jariyah donation in the name of a loved one so that they can reap the beautiful reward of ongoing charity long after the donation is complete, and even after they are gone.

INSTALL A DEEP WATER WELL IN UGANDA.
In Uganda’s drought-hit areas, far-fetched water areas, scarce water areas, and contaminated water areas, women and children spend hours fetching water. Donate your Sadaqat to them, and help us to transform and protect an entire village by installing a deep water well to provide clean water and blessings for years to come.
A fountain of blessing and clean water
When you provide a deep-water well, you’ll provide clean water to around 300 people affected by drought and unsafe water ensuring they no longer go thirsty and can grow and water crops to feed their families.
Water well doesn’t just provide the best of charities, it’s a Sadaqat Jaliyah that continues to give, and continues to bless the giver for as long as it’s in use.
Be a mercy to an entire community and reap the rewards of this blessed Sadaqat Jaliyah, year after year.
A merciful gift

It’s an incredible blessing to be able to give Sadaqat, no matter how little, since charity offers blessings and protection in this life and the hereafter, and transforms the lives of people facing hardship around the country.
“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

Running out of water and time

Water is about much more than quenching thirst; it creates jobs and helps communities lift
themselves out of poverty. When families struggle for water, it doesn’t just mean that they don’t
have clean water to drink; without water, families can’t grow food, feed their livestock, stay clean, or have products to sell. Without your support, residents will always be stuck trying to overcome water shortages.

Approximately 19% of Ugandans only have access to streams, ponds, and unprotected hand-dug

wells as sources of drinking water. Unsafe water is one of the largest barriers to eradicating extreme poverty.

Our wells are established in coordination with water experts who ensure that the well produces
clean water, which we test to ensure it stays safe for people to drink. With your help, we’ll be installing wells in areas of Uganda that have been worst hit, where current
water sources are unsafe, contaminated, or very far away.

Transform a community for generations to come

There is a serious shortage of clean water in rural areas, and many people share water sources
with animals.,
When you give out any single penny, you’ll be directly responsible for transforming life for 300
people for many years to come. You’ll reap the ongoing blessings of this Sadaqat Jaliyah, and every time a resident can drink clean water, grow a plant, feed an animal, or work instead of spending their day fetching water, that will be your blessed legacy.

When you donate a well, we’ll install a plaque in your name on the well, and send you a report detailing when and where your well was installed.
You can even donate the well in the name of a loved one, and they’ll reap the endless rewards of this charity – even after they are gone.

Changing lives

Iraji foundation has been working in Uganda for one year. We have so far installed a total of42 deep water wells and boreholes, and so far this year, we are also planning to install a desalination plant, provided aquaponic and hydroponic farms, install solar-powered water pumps, and clean the water network in northern Uganda.

Your Sadaqat can help us to change lives for the better, providing communities with a way to break the cycle. Reap the ongoing reward of gifting the best of charities. Donate today.

MOSQUE BUILDING FUND

Donate and give sadaqah to the Mosque Building Fund. This fund is used to construct the house of Allah in rural communities. Build a mosque in this world and build your palace in Jannah.

At the IRAJI FOUNDATION, we know that without personal and spiritual development, there can be no social development. In most of the villages we work, mosques are the places where personal and spiritual development happens. Mosques also double as community centers and places of learning. It’s where people are united in worship, where men and women come for solace and support, and where children learn to read. Mosques are the center of any community where people can congregate for their five daily prayers and Friday congregation sermons. A mosque serves as a place where Muslims can come together not only for prayers, but for information, education, and meetings.

Faith is vital to shaping the attitudes, beliefs, and practices that lay the foundation for everyday life. Faith unites people as a community, gives them strength, breeds hope, and inspires social justice as well as the

perseverance to improve themselves and their lives. Within the Islamic context where the concept of Zakat obligates the fair distribution of wealth, faith is integral to development. At MGR we build community mosques in remote villages to aid development. Mosques are where people gather to worship. It’s where children learn religious manners and read the Holy Qur’an. In mosques, villagers are united as a community to practice and better understand their faith, which is vital to development.

BUILDING A SCHOOL AND ORPHANAGE IN UGANDA FUND

Build a school for orphans Today, education remains an inaccessible right for millions of children around the world. When a child doesn’t have access to a school it impacts every part of their life – from worldviews to life expectancy to the likelihood of violence and prevalence of the disease. A school is a spark that begins to shape it all.

“Iraji foundation” has the courage to realize the dream of buying land and building a school and orphanage for around 100 kids in rural Uganda. Today the kids are living and studying in constructions, which can hardly be called “house” and “school”. In conditions of misery and constant morbidity, the kids could not receive the good education, that they deserve. You can see from the video how the kids are living today.

How we support

Across rural Uganda, many children have to choose between getting an education and being safe. Without classrooms, they are forced to study under trees, in all weather. They are exposed to the elements, distracted, and unable to learn. For those who do have some shelter, it is often unstable, with holes in the ceiling that let the rain in, leaving children cold and wet, and ruining their work.

SOLUTION

With the donations made to this project, “IRAJI FOUNDATION” will buy land and will build a nursery and primary school, where every day 300 kids will have access to education. On the other hand, the foundation will build an orphanage house, which will improve the living conditions and will give hope for a better life. LONG-TERM IMPACT Giving children the opportunity to explore and study is an important first step toward their independence. Education is fundamental to sustainable development; it is a powerful driver for reducing poverty and improving health. Giving kids knowledge is giving them a better FUTURE.

We are looking for $200,000 for the whole project.
